Description from the seller

Stunning Art Deco vase of uranium glass – custard glass – intense glow – ca. 1930

For sale: a unique and highly sought-after Art Deco vase made of pressed opal/custard-colored uranium glass from the 1920s-1930s. This piece features a beautifully stylized floral and foliate relief motif, elegantly mounted on a vintage metal foot.

• Spectacular glow: This is real uranium glass (uraline/ouraline) and emits an incredibly bright, intense neon-green fluorescence under UV light/blacklight (as shown in the photos). It glows beautifully under UV 395 nm and UV 365 nm. A true showpiece for any collector of vaseline- or uranium-glass!

Origin: This unique piece was acquired in Portugal and shares characteristics with high-quality European Art Deco glassware from that period.

Dimensions: Height: 23 cm / approx. 9 inches (including the metal foot)
Width: 10.5 cm / approx. 4.1 inches at the widest point.

Condition: The glass is still pristine and the relief details are very sharp.
Note: as seen in the close-up photo, there is a small chip/soft piece of glass on the inside of the upper rim. The bottom foot has somerust spots. For further details, see all photos.

It does not detract from the beautiful appearance and the magical glow.

Shipping and packaging:
The item is packed with the utmost care, with multiple layers of sturdy bubble wrap and a robust box to ensure safe arrival. Worldwide shipping is possible. Standard shipping costs apply, or local pickup can be arranged.
