Refined Missoni cardigan-jacket made in Italy, Italian size 50, crafted in a premium blend of 100% virgin wool and 100% genuine natural leather inserts, as stated on the original internal labels. A piece particularly sought after for its construction and materials, halfway between a heavy cardigan and a luxury casual jacket, ideal for the autumn/winter season.
The model features a warm beige/camel tone, with the front characterized by wide panels of soft honey-colored suede, paired with virgin wool knitwear. To the sides of the chest are elegant cable-knit inserts, an element that adds dimensionality and immediately recalls the tradition of high-end Italian knitwear. The sleeves and the entire back are instead made in wool knit, with cuffs and hem finished in ribbing.
The front closure is a full-length metal zipper that continues onto the high ribbed knit collar, allowing it to be worn both open and fully closed.
On the front are two large suede-applied pockets with flaps. Also very meticulous is the shoulder construction, with leather trims that accompany the cable inserts and create an elegant contrast between the different textures.
The original internal label reads MISSONI – Made in Italy – size IT 50 = M/L. The composition labels confirm 100% virgin wool for the knitted part and 100% natural leather for the leather inserts.
Actual measurements of the item: shoulders about 52 cm, chest about 56 cm armpit to armpit, waist about 52 cm, total length about 70 cm and sleeve length about 67 cm. The chest circumference therefore roughly corresponds to about 112 cm when the garment is laid flat.
