The Cartier Cougar Must de Cartier fountain pen presented in this lot is in excellent overall condition, displaying a very well cared-for appearance fully in line with a piece of its category and era.

The body and cap in black resin with a guilloché pattern are preserved with very good shine and definition in the vertical grooves, with no material loss or deformations. The surface shows only extremely light signs of superficial use, virtually imperceptible to the naked eye and typical of careful handling over time. The overall aesthetic remains elegant and highly attractive.

The gold-plated elements — clip, rings, and endings — have a bright and even finish, with excellent visual presence. No significant wear is observed on the plating, and the pieces maintain their structural and aesthetic integrity.
