Atmospheric antique side table with a richly decorated engraved metal top, ca. 1900–1920.
A special and decorative little table, featuring an octagonal metal top that around and in the central panel is richly adorned with finely worked floral and graceful motifs. The decoration has an elegant, somewhat exotic appearance and is nicely accentuated by the warm patina of the metal.
The top rests on a characteristic turned wooden base, with a nicely molded central column and a round, stable foot. It is precisely the combination of the richly ornate metal top and the warm wood that makes this a very decorative piece of furniture.
Thanks to its distinctive design, the table is excellent as a side table, plant stand, pedestal, or decorative table in a classic, country, eclectic, or contemporary interior.
A charming antique interior piece with a clear presence and a beautiful patina developed over time. The signs of use and age fit the age and contribute to its authentic character.
