We present at auction an elegant and refined pair of women's sunglasses from Montblanc, the splendid oversized model MB 142S, a high-class accessory that embodies the perfect synthesis between bold design and timeless luxury.
The frame, with markedly feminine and enveloping charm, is made in a classic and versatile tortoise coloration (tortoise/820). The large lenses feature a sophisticated gradient in brown tones, ideal to guarantee style and visual comfort. The conspicuous side temples draw attention thanks to a very particular circular carved design, inside of which the iconic Montblanc white star emblem in silvered metal is suspended. To further seal the brand identity, a tiny star is also inserted at the end of the temples, while inside the temple the inscription Montblanc Made in Italy is clearly visible.
The preserved condition of this specimen is overall assessable as good, maintaining solid structural integrity and firm hinges. However, in strict compliance with our policy of total transparency and as clearly evidenced in the macro photography documentation, there are evident signs of prior constant use. In particular, marked and widespread vertical scratches are noticeable on the surface of the lenses. Furthermore, the final part of the temple tips shows evident abrasions, hazing, and rubbing marks due to normal resting position and repeated daily wear. These signs attest to the authentic lived experience of the object without preventing normal use.
To enhance this lot, the sunglasses are offered accompanied by their elegant original black hard case with Montblanc logo, while they are missing the original accompanying documents.
