Bushmills Single Malt 12 YO Tequila Cask is a limited edition of 4,000 bottles, released exclusively for the Polish market. This unique 12-year-old whisky was crafted through a dual-maturation process: it spent its first 6 years in Bourbon and Sherry casks, followed by another 6 years in tequila casks sourced from Jose Cuervo—the world’s oldest and largest tequila producer. Developed by Bushmills Whisky Maker Alex Thomas and bottled in 2022 at a cask strength of 52.8% ABV, the expression is non-chill filtered. It is characterized by fresh notes of toffee, anise, and sweet melon.
