Vintage table sweeper (roller-crumb sweeper) made of silver-plated metal, in the Art Deco style. The hinged lid has a ribbed, streamlined design. Under the lid sits a rolling brush with natural bristles and light-colored plastic end caps. If you roll the sweeper over the tablecloth, the crumbs are picked up and collected in the receptacle.
Such a crumb sweeper was used at table to remove crumbs from the tablecloth. It is a decorative and functional piece for lovers of vintage tableware and Art Deco.
