AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
Stunning mushroom-shaped table/bedside lamp, an icon of Italian Space Age design from the 1970s. The piece is made of satin-frosted Murano glass in light blue/sky blue, entirely mouth-blown in a single piece.
The base features the characteristic slightly irregular cold-cut bottom edge, a technical feature confirming authentic artisanal craftsmanship and distinguishing it from printed industrial imitations.
Condition & Technical details:
• Height: 19 cm (highly sought-after compact/accent size).
• Condition: Perfect condition. The glass is intact with no chips, cracks, or scratches.
• Functionality: Fully working. Fits a small E14 bulb.
• Electrical note: The original plug was replaced with a slim black one for space-saving purposes (e.g., behind furniture). It can easily be replaced by the buyer with a personal preference or a plug matching their country's outlets. Vintage paper label is not present.
A beautiful piece of Italian design history, perfect for mid-century modern collectors.
