Made in Austria and Model: On the other temple you can see the inscription "MADE IN AUSTRIA" and the model number 2250. The Christian Dior models numbered in the 2000 series belong to vintage production dating from the late 1970s to the early 1980s.
On the temple, the logo and the word Optyl are visible. Optyl is a thermo-regulable, lightweight plastic material patented in the 1970s by Wilhelm Anger (also a manufacturer of Carrera). Dior began collaborating with Optyl and producing eyewear in Austria/Germany precisely in the 1970s.
