Panel (2) - Ceramic, Plaster

Pair of large decorative wall plaques in artistic plaster/rough ceramic.

Imagery inspired by Renaissance/Putti, 20th century.

Charming pair of artistic wall plaques, characterized by a strong sculptural and decorative imprint.

The work combines a classical/Renaissance-flavored aesthetic with contemporary craftsmanship that highlights the material's texture.

Support: the plaques are handcrafted on a thick slab of artistic plaster and/or rough ceramic with a substantial texture, irregular, wavy edges and an undulating surface that resembles the effect of a torn fresco or an old wall peeling away.

The texture of the material is central, giving the piece a lived-in, warm and elegant appearance.

Subject: on the surface there is a delicate design depicting cherubic angel figures (putti) lounging gracefully, inspired by the great tradition of classical and Renaissance painting. The soft lines and delicate color shading blend harmoniously with the texture of the support.

Setting and style: perfect as statement decor elements, these works fit beautifully into eclectic interior design contexts, boho chic, rustic-elegant, or minimalist, adding depth and a unique artistic touch to any prominent wall.

Type: decorative wall plaques or panels of art

Technique: hand-crafted drawing on a support of artistic plaster and rough ceramic

Era: 20th century

Conditions: good condition, featuring an authentic patina and slight structural irregularities and natural cracks (visible in photos) that enhance the piece's artisanal charm and antique character.
