Léa Stein Chapeau vintage brooch in Bakelite for women, 3.8 cm wide, 4.92 g, made in France, in very good condition with minor signs of wear and signed “LEA STEIN PARIS”.
Description from the seller
Magnificent brooch depicting a hat, vintage and rare, created by the renowned French designer Léa Stein in Bakelite. Brooch signed «LEA STEIN PARIS».
It is in very good condition, despite the years (it has a few micro-scratches, but these are not visible when worn). It dates from the 1960s. This series was already very expensive in the 1960s (information about this brooch is listed in the book Léa Stein Jewelry by Judith Just).
All Léa Stein items are still largely handmade. No two are identical. The various elements of the brooch are assembled by a heat-fixation process, which can sometimes leave light marks or scratches at the back, at the fixing points. This is completely normal and not a defect.
This brooch is a true collectible piece, emblematic of the refined style of the late 1960s and a beautiful addition to any vintage jewelry collection.
Dimensions: 3.8 cm × 3.8 cm.
Weight: 4.92 g.
Delivered with: A transparent protective bag (not original).
No box.
