Elegant, rectangular Cartier lighter with a surround of fine guilloché engraving in the classic braid pattern. The piece bears on the bottom the original engraving “ Cartier PARIS”, the stamped serial number 69461D, and the French workshop punch, as was typical for Cartier supplier parts of this era.

Case / housing made of solid silver, minimum fineness 980 (tested). This is NOT silver-plated metal. No government assay hallmark, which is correct and typical for early workshop models of this time.

• Early, sturdy Cartier gas mechanism
• Originality confirmed, function tested before emptying – see photo with flame
• IMPORTANT SHIPPING NOTE: The gas tank has been completely emptied for shipping reasons.
• The lighter has been cleaned and serviced, but not fully revised / not professionally overhauled. Sold as a collectible piece.
