Bruichladdich 20 years old Third Edition - b. 2005 - 70cl

Distilled in 1985 and bottled in 2005, this whisky was matured for 20 years on the island of Islay in bourbon casks, before being decanted into Malmsey Madeira hogsheads to complete its journey. The result is a fusion of two Atlantic islands: Islay, with its wild and windswept coastline, and the warm subtropical sweetness of Madeira.
The whisky is neither chill-filtered nor artificially coloured, in line with the distillery's production philosophy under the guidance of Jim McEwan.
The bottle can be dated to the 2000s.
