Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
Two solid wood folding chairs in a warm brown mid‑century style, Italian origin (Lombardia), dating from 1950–1960, in very good condition with slight wear and age marks, dimensions 78 cm high, 44 cm wide, 47 cm deep and a seat height of 46 cm.
Description from the seller
Beautiful pair of vintage slatted folding chairs, Italian product dating back to the mid-20th century. They feature a curved, contoured backrest with slatted boards in a warm, deep tone (dark walnut, medium walnut) that is intense and enveloping, rich with amber reflections and slightly golden hues that enhance the natural grain. On the outer surfaces and near the metal pins, the color shifts toward a burned brown, almost ebonized. Classic, iconic, and versatile structure, ubiquitous in Italian and European design for bistro, garden, and interior furnishings.
Based on the research conducted and our previous sales, we can confirm that the holes on the last board (on both chairs in photos 13/14/15) with a 3 cm spacing lead us to easily attribute them to the Reguitti Brothers, where this model carried a small oval metal plate of 3.5 cm (with the holes positioned exactly at 3 cm). Incredible aged patina! Shipping as usual is meticulously organized, with separate packaging.
Net weight 7 kg, chair height when closed 88 cm.
Due to current shipping issues, fuel price increases, and higher price lists (+7.4%), we are unfortunately obliged to raise costs to maintain quality and safety of your items.
