Welcome to my auction.
I am offering an elegant jardinière (fruit bowl/centerpiece) in the Art Deco style, made by the renowned German manufactory WMF.

Item features:
Manufacturer: WMF (punched signature with an ostrich in a rhombus, markings OX and I/O).
Style / Period: Art Deco (ca. 1920s–1930s).
Material: Silver-plated/oxidized metal (OX – oxidized finish) and the original glass insert with a geometric cut.
Decoration:
The sides of the casing are adorned with a relief bas-relief depicting an ancient/mythological scene (warriors with shields and swords).
The geometric, architectural form of the base and handles is characteristic of mature Art Deco style.
The glass insert with a serrated edge fits perfectly into the metal construction.
The piece has original glass.
