This piece is an original creation by THREAD RAGS, an independent workshop based in France.

It is made from an authentic second-hand LOUIS VUITTON Keepall, available in sizes 50, 55 or 60, selected and transformed to create a unique piece that blends luxury, second-hand retail and textile art.

The creation features a tapestry (100% cotton) depicting an interpretation of American Gothic, Grant Wood’s iconic work, as well as a black waterproof inner lining.

Each piece is designed and handmade in France. Its production requires several weeks of work, from preparation and design of the different elements to their assembly and finishing touches.

This piece is made on pre-order to allow for the selection and preparation of the base as well as the production of the textile creation.
