An Art Nouveau oil and vinegar cruet set produced by WMF (Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik) of Geislingen an der Steige, Germany, circa 1900, in the Jugendstil style. The frame is constructed of silver-plated brass and decorated with plant motifs characteristic of the Jugendstil period; it retains two glass bottles, though these are not original to the frame. WMF was by 1900 one of the largest producers and exporters of silver-plated wares in the world, and its Jugendstil output from this period is widely collected. The piece bears WMF maker's marks. Condition is graded Good: there is slight curvature to the handle and a general patina consistent with age; no cracks or breaks to the frame are noted.
