Montblanc - Great Characters Albert Einstein Limited Edition 1500 - Ballpoint pen

Description: A Limited Edition Montblanc ballpoint pen from the 'Great Characters' series, made as a tribute to Albert Einstein (1879-1955), the German-born Swiss-American theoretical physicist, philosopher and author who is widely regarded as one of the greatest scientists and the founder of the general theory of relativity. As for the ballpoint pen, the platinum-plated housing of the Albert Einstein Limited Edition 1500 shines with the soft light of a distant star, while the dark blue lacquer on the upper section evokes the velvet darkness of the infinite universe. The lattice on the upper section is inspired by Einstein's general relativity and wraps around the platinum-gilded globe on the clip, just as the light of a distant object in space would be bent by a star or galaxy in the foreground in what we nowadays call gravitational lensing. The housing is engraved with Einstein's key formulas. The ballpoint pen comes in the original box with a small hardcover booklet containing Einstein's famous quotes.
