Silver 835 vintage ring by Dutch silversmith Menno Meijer, weighing 11.045 g, with an open, irregular hammered band and a domed top featuring two recessed shapes, size adjustable, marked MM, FM2 and the Dutch 835 sword, in very good vintage condition with signs of wear and no laboratory report.
Description from the seller
Striking silver ring by Dutch goldsmith Menno Meijer. The large, slightly domed top has two deep pressed shapes. This causes the play of light and shadow to change every time you view the ring from a different angle. The open ring shank also has an irregular, hammered texture.
The ring is marked with the MM monogram, the master mark FM2, and the Dutch sword hallmark for 835 silver. The design fits Meijer’s work from the 1970s, though an exact production year has not been established.
The ring has been worn and is in very good vintage condition. Scratches and other signs of wear are visible on the silver, appropriate to its age and use. The open shank allows a limited amount of size adjustment.
