Description from the seller

Art Deco Amsterdam School oak armchair – ca. 1920/1930

A characteristic Art Deco armchair from the early 20th century (interwar period), strongly influenced by the Amsterdam School style. This chair is a beautiful example of Dutch or Northern European craftsmanship from the 1920s–1930s.

The armchair is made from high-quality solid oak with a striking, expressive wood grain. The backrest features an elegant stylized, carved center panel that is typical of the Art Deco period. The smoothly curved, wide armrests provide excellent comfort and also give the chair a monumental and regal appearance.

The seat is upholstered with a comfortable, deep green marled velour/plush fabric that harmonizes perfectly with the warm tones of the oak.

A timeless and atmospheric piece of furniture that fits perfectly in classical, eclectic, or modern design interiors.
