Description from the seller

For the connoisseur of high-quality international mid‑century design and the passionate UV collector: an exceptional, 19-piece 'Kopstoot' café collection of museum grade.

This thematic top lot brings the nostalgic café tradition to life (strong beers with characterful tasting glasses beside them) and combines this with the absolute highlights from Dutch, Danish, and Belgian glass history from the Art Deco period (the 1930s/40s). A unique eye‑catcher for a high‑end home bar, mancave, or UV display cabinet.

The International Design Trio – Copier, Holmegaard & Doyen: The absolute crown pieces of this lot are the rare glasses with the pitch-black elements, originating from the three great powers of Nordic glass art:

Magical Light Spectacle (High‑Manganese & Silhouette Effect): During the photo shoot under a 365nm UV lamp these historic glasses, together with the beautiful Belgian beer glasses, transform into a fabulous spectacle. Thanks to the exceptionally high historical manga content in the vintage glassware, the goblets glow intensely and bright green. With Copier, Holmegaard, and Doyen glasses, an insane Art Deco effect emerges: the goblets glow bright green while the black elements remain as jet-black, dark silhouettes behind them!
