A 7.94 g Moldavite freeform meteorite from the Czech Republic, originating in the South Bohemian strewn fields (Slavče / deeper Chlum layers) and featuring an aerodynamic elongated profile with radial surface textures and a conchoidal edge.
Description from the seller
This premium individual specimen originates from the prestigious South Bohemian strewn fields (Slavče /deeper Chlum layers), famous for producing tektites with remarkable depth, high purity, and sharp aesthetics. Due to its solid mass and impressive thickness, the piece
exhibits a majestic, mysterious deep dark green, almost black appearance in ambient light. However, when backlit, it completely transforms, revealing an absolutely flawless, rich forest-green translucency with no muddy or brownish undertones.
Shape: A complete aerodynamic individual with a beautiful, robust elongated elliptical profile, showcasing the fluid dynamics of its 15-million-year-old atmospheric flight.
Sculpturing: Remarkable radial surface textures with sharp, deeply etched ridges and miniature bubble depressions caused by natural post-impact soil etching.
Authenticity: 100% genuine natural impact glass from the Ries crater event. Features a classic conchoidal fracture on one natural edge, serving as a direct visual proof of its inner glass purity, lack of stress cracks, and high quality.
An exceptional investment piece or a crown jewel for any serious mineral collection.
Condition: Excellent, natural raw specimen
