This Cartier lighter has a beautiful silver-tone finish with a finely textured, crosshatched pattern and a slim oval body. I really like how the surface catches the light, while the flip-top design gives it that classic Cartier character. The visible wear adds a little vintage charm, making it an appealing piece for collectors.

[Appearance]

This is a vintage Cartier lighter featuring a slim, elongated oval body with a distinctive textured silver-tone finish.

The surface is covered with fine, overlapping engraved-style lines, creating an attractive crosshatched pattern that reflects light from different angles. It's a lovely detail that gives this lighter plenty of character without being overly flashy.

The hinged flip-top lid and exposed ignition wheel add to its classic, practical design. The compact oval shape is another nice touch, making this a visually interesting piece even when displayed.

The underside is engraved with the Cartier signature, PARIS marking, and serial number 193228. A small additional hallmark-style symbol is also visible.

There are surface scratches, minor scuffs, and signs of wear, particularly around the bottom plate, edges, and metal fittings. Some discoloration is also visible around the upper mechanism and inside the lid.

However, the textured finish remains attractive, the Cartier engravings are clearly readable, and the overall appearance retains a nice vintage character.

I especially like the contrast between the softly rounded shape and the detailed surface texture. It's the sort of understated design that makes older Cartier lighters enjoyable to collect.

I've only checked the basic ignition so far. The flame is a little small.

As this is a vintage lighter, an overhaul and general maintenance are recommended before long-term use.
