Side table - Oak - Art Deco side table

Beautiful slim wooden plant table (or plant stand), designed in the characteristic Arts and Crafts or Mission style. Netherlands about 1950-1960

The little table is presumably made of solid oak and finished with a warm, honey-brown varnish or stain that nicely accentuates the natural grain. Typical for this furniture style are the clean, straight lines, the subtly arched (curved) aprons under the top and the lower shelf that is equipped with wooden spindles. Similar to the Art Deco period Amsterdam School.
