Article: SET PLUMA ESTILOGRÁFICA Y PORTAMINAS PARKER VACUMATIC, in amber-gold striped laminated celluloid with black semitranslucent horizontal stripes, arrow clip and gold-plated decorations, presented in its original Parker box
Pen: 12.9 cm in length x 1.15 cm in diameter
Nib: F
Pencil: 12.9 cm in length x 0.9 cm in diameter
Parts: 2
Period: 1940s
Materials: Pen and pencil in laminated striped amber-gold/black semitranslucent celluloid to match. 14-karat gold nib with engraving "PARKER" and the arrow, ebonite feeder and black nib section. Arrow clip engraved and gold-plated cap rings on the pen; pencil with matching arrow clip, central ring and gold-plated tip cone, twist mechanism. The pen is vacuum-filler (Vacumatic), with a plastic push-button under the threaded section, typical of the model.
Condition: Good overall conservation for its age, with the celluloid bright and free of cracks or losses in either piece. The stripes, originally transparent, have darkened to an amber tone with time, as is usual for the model. In the cap of the pen there are fine superficial signs of use and the imprint of the barrel has become very faint; the gold plating on the clip and rings remains well struck, with slight wear. Nib straight and aligned, with no visible bends, slight patina. The pencil preserves the gold plating on the clip and ring, and shows small scratches on the golden tip cone. Minor signs of use appropriate to the period.
Accessories: Supplied with its original rigid Parker box, bright satin interior and Parker logo printed on the lid; no papers, certificate or guarantee card visible in the photos.
The photographs are part of the description.
