Special and original Dutch historical collectible object (Orabilia): a commemorative scarf for the 50-year reign jubilee and the abdication of Queen Wilhelmina in 1948.

In the center of the scarf is a beautiful portrait of the sovereign depicted in a circular medallion, surrounded by the text "Wilhelmina Queen of the Netherlands 1898 - 1948". The scarf is richly decorated with detailed historical and military scenes on horseback. The corners are adorned with elegantly tied red-white-blue ribbons and the Dutch tricolor runs as a trim around the entire design.

The scarf is in a neat, collectible vintage condition with lovely, striking colors. A beautiful and meaningful piece of textile history for the serious collector of the Dutch Royal House!

Bijzonder en origineel Nederlands historisch verzamelobject (Orabilia): een herdenkingssjaal ter gelegenheid van het 50-jarig regeringsjubileum en de abdicatie van Koningin Wilhelmina in 1948.

In het centrum van de sjaal is een prachtig portret van de vorstin afgebeeld in een cirkelvormig medaillon, omringd door de tekst "Wilhelmina Koningin der Nederlanden 1898 - 1948". 
De sjaal is rijkelijk gedecoreerd met gedetailleerde historische en militaire taferelen te paard. De hoeken zijn opgesierd met elegant gestrikte rood-wit-blauwe linten en de Nederlandse driekleur loopt als bies rondom het hele ontwerp.
