Description from the seller
Dunhill Shell Briar 433 – 1975 – With Inner Tube and Vintage Booklets
An elegant English Dunhill Shell Briar, shape 433, dated 1975 by the “15” suffix following “Made in England.”
The distinctive sandblast displays a deep brown finish that reveals warm reddish-brown tones in natural daylight. The polished black vulcanite mouthpiece carries the unmistakable White Spot. The removable Dunhill Inner Tube is present and included.
Conservatively restored by The PipeLab, retaining the existing exterior finish and clearly legible nomenclature. The stummel has been gently cleaned and finished with Renaissance microcrystalline wax; the mouthpiece has been deoxidised and gently polished, with particular care to preserve its original contours and button definition. A few faint patches of underlying oxidation remain visible under strong light, reflecting the restrained approach taken to restoring this vintage pipe.
Presented in very good restored estate condition, with minor signs of age and previous use. A thin bowl coating was applied during restoration to give the cleaned chamber an even finish.
Accompanied by two vintage Dunhill booklets: “Your Dunhill” and “Fine Tobacco by Alfred Dunhill.”
Dimensions.
-Length: approximately 15,5 cm.
-Tobacco chamber: approximately 19 mm. diameter x 38 mm. depth.
Nomenclature:
‘433 | Dunhill Shell | Made in England 15,’
