Silver - Chain - Silver wax beads

A necklace with large beautifully worked silver wax beads from India. A thin layer of silver is wrapped around a core of wax to prevent dents. This traditional technique was widely used in antique and tribal jewelry from, among other places, Gujarat and Rajasthan. The beads are in excellent condition.
