Our Standards:
- Each bonsai is delivered with a sample packet of our preferred organic bonsai long-term fertilizer.
- To determine trunk width, we place the measuring instrument at half the height between the root base and the first branch (see example image). If there are multiple trunks, the widest one is chosen.
- All our trees are planted in a substrate mix specially developed by us.
- Where possible, we reuse old packaging material when shipping, for the sake of the environment.
- The trees are watered before shipping, protected from drying out, and securely fixed in the outer carton.
- Shipping is insured.
- We engage service providers who state they normally deliver the goods within a maximum of 4 business days.
- We ship on the following Monday after payment is received on Catawiki to avoid weekend delivery delays.
