German WW1 backpack "Tornister" in cowhide and canvas.

Nominative backpack in the name of "Gerst", visible on the wood inside.

Cowhide and canvas in good condition.

Leather fairly supple but worn in places (see photos).
Triangle fasteners worn (one has been repaired) and a hook is missing.

Backpack that presents very well, ideal for display in a storefront window or on a mannequin.

Model much rarer than the WW2 model.

Backpack came from a village cave near Verdun.

Fast and careful shipping.

Modèle beaucoup plus rare que le modèle WW2.
