General description

Granada is internationally known as one of the leading centers of traditional Spanish guitar making. The city has a rich history of luthiers who craft instruments according to classic Spanish construction traditions.

This Toria T-23 bears a traditional Spanish label with the wording Guitarras Españolas, Toria and Granada, España. The original label is still present in the soundboard and underscores the instrument's Spanish origin.

The solid cedar top is a particularly valued feature in classical guitars. Cedar wood is known for its warm, rounded tonal character, quick response and rich overtones. Compared to spruce, cedar typically yields a more direct, warmer tone with full resonance.

The guitar is equipped with a bone nut and a bone saddle. Bone is a traditional material widely used in high-quality classical guitars due to its hardness, durability and efficient transmission of string vibrations.

Additionally, the instrument has recently been fitted with a new set of nylon strings, so the guitar is ready to play.
