Gorgeous small silver box decorated with a traditional Far Eastern design in repoussé and chasing.
The lid features a lively scene depicting sages and dignitaries in a leafy landscape with a geometric border frieze.
Two maker’s marks/ideogram stamps stamped on the reverse under the bottom of the box.
Beautiful original patina, good overall condition with signs of age that give it all the charm of antiquity.
