### H. Hooykaas (HH) – Mylflam Diplomat – Silver table lighter 835 – The Night Watch – 1963
Special vintage table lighter from the renowned German brand Mylflam, model Diplomat, featuring a richly decorated Dutch silver casing.
The casing is made of second quality silver (835/1000) and bears the master mark HH, attributed to the Dutch silversmith H. Hooykaas.
Additionally, the Dutch year letter 'd' is present, dating the silver casing to 1963.
The front features a beautifully detailed relief inspired by the world-famous painting The Night Watch by Rembrandt van Rijn.
The depiction shows several historic musketeers in seventeenth-century attire, including weapons, a drum, and characteristic headgear. The refined relief gives the lighter a distinctive Old Dutch appearance.
The original lighter mechanism comes from the German manufacturer Mylflam and bears at the bottom the inscriptions:
