Hobby box - Wood - Antique toolbox

A beautiful work (handicraft) box from the early 20th century, around 1900. Beautiful chip carving and relief, Frisian or from the area around the Zuiderzee. Very refined, and especially draw your attention to the butterflies. On the front, top and sides there is woodcarving; the back has none. The small key is missing, otherwise the expected signs of age. A remarkable craft, often as a bridal gift. It is sent by registered mail.
