Description from the seller
Ancient Meissen porcelain vase, Germany, adorned with a polychrome decor of dragons and stylized motifs in blue-gray and orange-red tones.
This piece features an elegant silhouette, sublimated by a silvery metal mount bearing the 800 hallmarks, corresponding to silver fineness 800/1000.
The combination of decorated porcelain and the silver mount gives this specimen a distinctive decorative identity.
Special feature and restoration:
The vase has undergone an old intervention following damage to the neck. An artisanal reconstruction of this part was carried out, allowing the exterior shape and visual harmony to be restored.
The restoration is discreet when viewed from the outside, while traces of the intervention remain visible inside the neck.
A micro-flaw is also present at the base.
This restoration is now part of the object's material history and contributes to its unique character.
* Height: 33 cm
* Materials: porcelain and silver mount 800
Condition: good, restored, with a defect at the base and traces of interior neck reconstruction.
Detailed photographs of the mount, hallmarks, and restoration are an integral part of the description.
Careful shipment with tracking and insurance.
