It was produced by the Borgo 21 S.p.A. subsidiary, an entity named after the brand's historic address via Borgonuovo 21 in Milan, dedicated solely to runway pieces and the most prestigious artisanal productions of the brand.

This model dates from the early 2000s (Y2K era), a pivotal period when Giorgio Armani relaunched its internal luxury production via Borgo 21. It is an authentic vintage piece, characteristic of that decade with its rich, textured embroideries.
