Description from the seller
Refined and elegant vintage table lamp produced by the DaVinci brand (original brand name present on the lower base in felt). A piece with strong decorative character that blends perfectly Boho Chic style and warm Hollywood Regency tones: the base with a spherical sculptural design alternates elements in shiny gold metal/brass with warm, shaped bamboo wood rings. The original cone-truncated shade in light fabric provides a soft and welcoming light diffusion. A retro-chic feature of great charm for design interiors, vintage environments, or spaces with eclectic style.
Base: In excellent vintage condition, with a beautiful patina of time and slight traces of superficial wear on the shiny metal that attest to its authenticity.
Shade ("shade"): The shade shows defects and imperfections visible in the detailed photos (in particular a yellowish stain/spot near the slightly detached rear junction line and small spots/age marks on the fabric). Please view carefully the attached photo gallery, which constitutes an integral part of the description.
Seller's Story
For over 20 years, I have dedicated myself passionately to the search for and trading of special, rare, curious objects from any era.
Every piece I select has something that catches my attention: it can be the shape, the story, the unusual aspect, or simply that detail that makes it unique.
I am always searching for objects that speak, that tell something to those who know how to listen.
I choose them carefully, photograph them honestly, and describe them as accurately as possible.
Selling on this Catawiki to share this passion with those who, like me, love to surround themselves with things with a soul.
