Materials: Polished black resin body, gold-plated cap with fine vertical guilloché lines and clip with a circular white end, gold-tone trim and fittings, 14-karat gold inlaid nib with diamond decoration
Condition: Very well preserved. The black body retains a deep shine, with no noticeable cracks or warping. The gold-tone cap has crisp engraving and the mark “SHEAFFER'S” is clearly legible, with light signs of use and minor superficial scuffs consistent with its age, but no severe wear to the plating. The gold nib appears intact and aligned, with slight dried ink residue around the feed. A well-cared-for-looking piece. The Snorkel system has a sac and internal seals which, due to age, may need servicing by a professional; it is sold as is.
