Description from the seller

SKE - "Fight the Pixels" - 02/10

Ultra-limited edition, only 10 copies.

There are images that instantly bring back the noise of arcade machines, CRT screens and games where every credit counted. Fight the Pixels starts exactly from that memory—but blows it up in a rough street setting, saturated with marks, drips and signs.
In the center, Ken, the cult silhouette of Street Fighter, rises fist forward facing an army of pixelated creatures directly inherited from Space Invaders. Two generations of video games collide: close-quarters combat meets the 8-bit invasion. The duel becomes almost absurd, therefore perfectly pop.
SKE turns this confrontation into a contemporary street art image. Deep black, flashes of blue, industrial typography, score displays, signage codes and layers of matter give the composition the look of an urban wall that would have absorbed forty years of arcade culture. Nothing is merely nostalgic: the references are ripped from their era to become a current graphic language.
Fight the Pixels is aimed at those who instantly recognize the gesture, the sprites, the score, the word STREET—and who enjoy seeing these icons leave the screen to enter a collection. A piece conceived as a meeting point between video games, pop culture and street energy. Those who know... know.

- FRAMING TIPS

Your artwork is shipped rolled and protected in a tube.

Upon receipt, remove it gently and lay it flat for 48 to 72 hours so it can naturally regain its shape before framing.

ISO formats (A3, A2, A1…) are very easy to frame with standard frames available in DIY or decor stores.

Personally, I use Leroy Merlin aluminum frames: simple, elegant and affordable; they wonderfully showcase the artworks.

- ARTIST BIO:
SKE is a self-taught French artist with a versatile background who grew up immersed in the culture of the 80s/90s, inspiring a large majority of his works.

He constantly explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stencils, graffiti, urban installations and digital art. His dynamic and expressive compositions, often with a double reading, blend the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art.

After an exceptional year 2025, SKE’s market value has seen a notable rise. Winner of the first prize at the Urban Master contest (2023), then named Artist of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025).
SKE was chosen as the "Artist of the Month" by the Opulence gallery in October, and he also benefited from a feature in an American art magazine confirming his international recognition.

His works have already been exhibited in major venues in Europe, the United States and Asia, consolidating his place on the contemporary art scene. At the same time, SKE also makes his mark in the digital art market, a major trend of the past two years, enhancing the appeal of his creations to collectors.

Icons of popular culture, bold graphics and texture play characterize a style now essential.

SKE is undoubtedly an artist to follow, to initiate or enrich a collection with rising value.

Awarded & Renowned Artist – Pop Art & Contemporary Street Art

A UNIVERSE BETWEEN HERITAGE AND MODERNITY SKE’s work sits in a prestigious lineage. His line carries the visual efficiency of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol, while incorporating the subversion of Banksy or the pioneer Blek le Rat. His works create a bridge between eras: they revisit classics, not hesitating to remix the Mona Lisa by Vinci, Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, Hokusai’s The Great Wave, or the deconstructed forms of Picasso to confront them with a modern urban aesthetic close to Mr. Brainwash or Kaws.

POP CULTURE & NOSTALGIA Drawing from the collective imagination, SKE manipulates icons from our childhood. He stages the Disney universe with figures like Mickey or Pinocchio, and the symbolic greed of Scrooge McDuck. The influence of gaming, comics and graphic novels is omnipresent: from the Nintendo universe and the mythical Game Boy, to Pokemon creatures (Pikachu, Charizard, Ash), through Marvel superheroes. SKE crystallizes these memories in the manner of a Daniel Arsham or Takashi Murakami.

LUXURY, HYPE & CONSUMER SOCIETY In a style sometimes reminiscent of Alec Monopoly, the artist plays with codes of success and materialism. The Dollar symbol sits alongside luxury and fashion logos. His canvases capture the “Hype” aesthetic: you encounter the sneaker world (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off-White) and haute couture (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin). He also incorporates automotive adrenaline (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG) and precision watchmaking (Rolex, TAG Heuer), not to mention mass consumer icons like Coca-Cola. It’s vibrant art, with textured finishes that sometimes evoke Jeff Koons’ glossy finish or the facets of Richard Orlinski.

This work is ideal for enriching a collection or adding a dynamic touch to your interior.
