AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
Vintage Commodore 64 / 128 Peripherals and Accessories Lot - 1541 Drive (POWERS ON), Boxed 1530 Datassette, Paddles and Floppy Disks
Incredible lot of vintage expansion hardware and accessories for Commodore 64 and Commodore 128 home computers, ideal for collectors, retro gaming fans, and anyone nostalgic for the 1980s.
The lot includes exactly everything shown in the detailed photos:
1. COMMODORE DISK DRIVE 1541: Classic 5¼-inch floppy disk drive (original model, Made in Japan). ELECTRICALLY TESTED: The drive receives power correctly and powers on as it should (the LEDs light up). Includes power cable and serial data cable.
2. COMMODORE 1530 DATASSETTE UNIT (Model C2N): Original cassette tape unit for loading games, kept in its original box, complete with the factory protective foam inserts.
3. COMMODORE PADDLES: Pair of original Commodore paddle controllers with connecting cable.
4. NASHUA FLOPPY DISK STORAGE BOX: Vintage container with security key included, holding a collection of 5.25" floppy disks containing various handwritten software/games from the era.
Item condition (PLEASE READ CAREFULLY):
All items come from a private collection and are used and vintage. The lot is sold in the condition shown in the photos, on an “as is” basis, for collecting or partial refurbishment.
• Operating details: The 1541 drive powers on without any problems. However, the complete lot HAS NOT BEEN TESTED WITH A COMPUTER AND MONITOR: the actual read/write capability of the drive and Datassette heads has not been checked, nor has the integrity of the data on the old floppy disks.
• Appearance: The plastic casings are intact with no cracks; they show the usual minor signs of age and the characteristic slight yellowing found on vintage Commodore plastics. The Datassette box is sturdy and well preserved, with minor storage wear.
