Description from the seller
This lot is part of my special auction of religious objects. Take a look at the others as well: who knows, you might find the piece that is missing from your collection or the perfect one to start one!
About this item:
Elegant Italian nineteenth-century silver crucifix, tested, presumably of fineness .800, without hallmarks.
A piece of refined craftsmanship, particularly careful in the details. At the foot of the cross there is a small skull with crossed bones, symbol of Golgotha and a reminder of Memento mori.
Genuine antique patina preserved, with natural signs of time. Complete with a cylindrical wooden base.
Crucifix: 16x8.5 cm, weight 53 g. Overall height of the wooden base: 20 cm.
Offered at auction without a reserve price.
Proper packaging and fast shipping.
