Description from the seller
Bring a sense of serenity and classical elegance to your home with this beautifully detailed wall plaque. The central bas-relief features a portrait of the Virgin Mary in a praying pose, dressed in a starry mantle and standing upon a crescent moon with a cherub beneath her.
The central oval medallion is framed by a stunning, highly ornate baroque-style border. The frame is richly decorated with sculpted acanthus leaves, blooming roses, scrollwork, and a decorative crest at the very top, giving it a luxurious, antique feel.
Material: Crafted from a plaster/concrete mix. The surface has a matte white finish, making it perfect for display as-is or ready for custom painting, gilding, or antiquing to match your interior.
DIMENSIONS SHOWN ON PHOTO.
Shipping from Latvia. Fast, secure, trackable.
Mounting: The back of the basrelief features a built-in metal hook for secure wall mounting. Installation is simple and requires no special skills.
Seller's Story
sculpturebay.shop or insta:victormassacretattoos
I am a professional artist and sculptor with over 8 years of experience. In 2014, I graduated as a master from one of only two professional craftsmen schools in Europe (France / Latvia). Out of 62 admitted students, only 7 completed the program.
All works are created and hand-painted by me personally. I specialize in sculpture inspired by classical antiquity and museum aesthetics, combining timeless forms with a contemporary visual language.
On Catawiki, I also act as a collector, professionally selecting and acquiring distinctive objects of artistic value, some of which are offered for sale from my private collection.
