1 octavo volume (22 x 14.5 cm), half leather with corners, covers and spine preserved, gilded head, 192-[2] pages (complete). Perfect condition.

Complete translation of Henri Demeurisse. 20 original lithographs by Mariano Andreü. 

Edition of 310 copies on pure vellum from the Lana workshops, this one is number 203. 

John Gay, (1685  Barnstaple - 1732 London) is an English poet and playwright. He is best known for writing the libretto of The Beggar's Opera (1728), put in music by Johann Christoph Pepusch.
