Olivetti typewriter with a rounded body, by Marcello Nizzoli, an example of Italian design from the 1950s.
Model present in a collection displayed at the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) in New York.
In 1954, it won the Compasso d'Oro Award.

Features:
Standard manual typewriter. 
Keyboard: 45 keys, corresponding to 90 symbols.
Ribbon: in fabric height 13 mm; change colour ribbon with lever placed at the top left above the keyboard.
Tabulator: decimal with eight keys (in the version with tabulator).
Carriages: seven carriages available with 90, 105, 125, 150, 180, 220 and 260 spaces.
Interleave: four positions plus zero, roller clutch button located on the left knob.
Serial number: 2203695
Mechanical design: Giuseppe Beccio 
Body: metal with removable cover

The Olivetti M 80 - Lexikon 80 were produced in a quantity of about 780,000 pieces from 1948 to 1959
The typewriter, Lexikon 80 version II, with long carriage, has small keys in black resin.
