Alvis TA14 BROOKLAND-SPECIAL with classic car registration, 1948.

Magnificent Alvis Special based on the famous TA 14 series. This Alvis has recently been thoroughly rebuilt, with the body part where the windshield normally is placed has been replaced by a much more beautifully shaped part on which the classic Brooklands windshields were mounted. The engine has been completely overhauled by the specialist British Royal Cars Munich. Engine completely dissembled, cooling revised,
an 8-blade rotor (custom-made) was specially manufactured to ensure cooling during mountain and city journeys. (Additionally equipped with electric fan). The single carburettor was replaced by a dual carburettor. The four cylinder in-line engine with almost 2.000 cm³ (1892 cm³) delivers 72 HP - a power that some 6 cylinders would wish for.
140 km/h are no problem, but then hold on tight, because it feels like you are sitting in an old fighter plane.

Dashboard reworked and equipped with beautiful old instruments. Also a Halda odometer built in. 

Additionally on a euro-pallet you will find
replacement gearbox,
engine block and engine parts,
1-2-3 electronic ignition (not installed, because the original one works very well).

The seating position, the shifting and the engine running of this Special is really great. In addition, a overwhelming steering feel and a irresistible appearance.
