An old R.A.F. aircraft compass from the second world war. Used in among other things Lancasters. Is a large model in a large chest.  These do not come up much and certainly not in this good condition. I wonder if it’s ever been used. 
Has an Azimuth Circle in a good state. One glass lacks and one glass with a crack.  
The chest looks perfect with a manual on the inside. 
A must have for the military aviation collector.
The diameter of the compass is 16 cm.
