Fully original, 1960s, from the first owner - maintained by Vitra.  (shock mounts & natural wax layer to keep the gorgeous shape in the supple leather) 

De Eames Lounge 670 or Eames Lounge Chair is a design from 1956. Charles Eames and his wife Ray Kaiser became world-famous with the design of this chair. The lounge chair produced by Herman Miller Inc became a status symbol.

It is upholstered with removable upholstery elements in leather, the armrests are connected to the seat tub with rubber and metal shock mounts. The chair swivels on a five-point base in die-cast aluminium, the ottoman swivels on a four-point star base.  

Original the chair and ottoman were gifts to a friend of the coup,e Billy Wilder, who was the director of Some Like it Hot and Sunset Blvd.  The rest is history.

So this is an early edition in the best imaginable condition - invaluable exclusivity and look.
