Antique Javanese Kris 

Era: 1st half of the 19th century.

Dapor: Sangkelat

The blade with 13 well proportioned luk (curves) is washed with citric acid 
but not yet processed with arsenic (hard to obtain)

Wilah (blade): 13 luk, special pamor (damask-like pattern) and beautiful thick smooth blade

Pamor: Kananga Ginubah

Mendak: gold-plated bronze, Djogya style paryoto (swollen rice).

Ukiran: the hilt Nunggak Semi Solo has nicely cut patras (the masks under and above)

Warangka (sheath): slight damage to the edge, the sheath is cut out well (probably belonging to another kris) and leaves wood marks when taking it out of the blade

Pendok: bronze with deeply carved vines and floral motifs (dented at the tip)

Size: 47 cm. Blade 35 cm.

The kris is delivered with a padded batik kris bag (singgep).
