Mooie antieke schrijfkist uit Engeland.
Als de kist geopend is vormt zich een mooi zwart  schrijfvlak (wat vernieuwd is) met daar onder twee berg ruimtes,  en verder zie je een pennenbakje met kroontjespen en griffels ,en  een vakje met een klep inktpot .
Pennenbakje is verwijder baar met daar onder een ruimte voor pennen.
Alle messing hoekelementen, slotschildje en deksel plaat zijn nog aanwezig.
Het kistje heeft nog een goed werkend slotje met sleuteltje.
De staat van de kist is gebruikt maar dat geeft juist de authentieke uitstraling die de kist heeft (zie foto's met pijl). 

De maten van de schrijfkist als deze is dichtgeklapt zijn 26,5cm breed, 21 diep en 14 cm hoog. 
De maat van de kist als deze is open geklapt is 34 cm lang.
