Staff of the Chief.
A solid staff of mangrove wood inlaid with mother-of-pearl and a kind of bitumen.
The upper part has a knob with a climbing snake underneath it Below is a figure with headgear and flared base under which is a floral element.
The lower part of the staff has an ascending snake towards the floral element.
The hands of the figure are broken off, see the photos.

Weight including stand: 675 grams
Height including stand: 100 cm.
